On 30th May 2017, 23 members of staff from Orwell Park School will be embarking on a 110 mile bike ride from Blakeney, on the North Norfolk coast, to Orwell Park School to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice, Meningitis Research Foundation and Facing the World.

This challenge will see the staff cycle, predominantly, along the coastal roads before heading inland to finish at the school in Nacton. The full route can be seen here.

The aim is to complete the challenge by sunset, so allowing approximately 15 hours from the 6am start until the sun sets at 9pm.

With many of the participants novice cyclists, this is a challenge which will test minds and bodies; however, the staff have risen to the challenge to raise money for three fantastic charities.  Visit the Profiles page to find out about the staff who are taking part.
